Muting Part of a Staff When Using Hidden Staff for Playback |
|
| User Tip #: 64 Offered By: Chris Phoenix Last Modified: N/A |
A standard trick is to use a hidden staff for things like trills that are not yet supported in NoteWorthy Composer. To mute the main staff while you're doing the trick, insert a multi-point controller, and set the volume to zero for the duration. Note: you must set the volume back to what it should be (probably 128) after the end of the trick. Also, MPC volume changes do not affect notes that have already started playing.
